Ridgeway Road Runs Liberty
by Charles Lawson

It wasn't our typical 15 minutes away game as 901PrepScoop was on the road Saturday night to watch Memphis own, Ridgeway High take on the Crusaders of Liberty in Jackson Tn. Liberty jumped out early with a 8-0 lead before a Jason Jones jumper with 5:30 left got the Roadrunners on board. The smallish Crusaders used good positioning to out rebound the Roadrunners in the 1st with 6'2 Tarius Johnson's offensive rebound and put back to keep his team up 11-6 with 2:50 remaining in the 1st quarter. Ridgeway couldn't convert free throws going 1-7 in the 1st but a Jones fadeaway closed it 13-9.
