Memphis native and now Nashville Christian star, Martino Brock looked have some to prove while Denario Robertson looked to assert himself as one the best players in the city. Brock came out aggressive in the 1st quarter getting NCA started with a 3. The 6'3 senior g/f Robertson seemed as if he couldn't miss scoring 11 points in the 1st. While new point guard Nathen Garth struggled with his shot, D-Rob stayed on fire hitting a 3 to make it 26-24 in second quarter. Nashville Christian's shot blockers would come out, proving coming to the lane would not be a good idea. Freshman Cameron Clear would close the half on a putback to tie it 44-44 at the half.
