MEMPHIS HIGH SCHOOL 2007-2008 TEAM PREVIEW
His running mate, Patrick Lee is small in stature but big in game averaging 18 per game last season. Lee has great handles and can get his shot of despite his 55 height and drain the 3 with regularity. There may not be better shooter in Memphis when Lee is on. Aubrey Phillips is a huge space eater who will control the boards and surprise with soft touch out to the 3 point line. At 65 and probably a 7 ft wing span, he is arguably the most underrated player in the area. He shoots the ball extremely well from all over the court and he can slash making him a legit D-1 prospect. Transfer Marquise Lewis will do all the dirty work and average 8-10 points a game too.
The Warriors bench will separate them from their Double A counterparts. Travis Bridges could start for any school in the city but with Btw, hes a weapon off the bench. The shifty guard can score and score in bunches and he has surprise leaping ability. Seville King is a true point guard who loves to defend and distribute. Newcomer Kerry Love will also contribute and start a few games. Other key players will be, Will Street, Kenneth Jackson, Russell Douglas and Lacorwyn Anthony.

Booker T. Washington Team Preview
Deep and talented would be two words used to describe this years Btw team. After losing 69 Jerry Hampton to graduation and having a very disappointing finish to last year, the Warriors are back and they maybe better than last year when they won over 30 games. If you want depth the Warriors have it but where Tim Ware goes so does his team. The 510 guard had great year last season where he averaged over 20 points and this year he may not have to do that. The senior leader is the best point guard in Memphis, pretty much doing whatever he wants to his opponent. The only thing that he may have to work on his perimeter shooting but Ware is a Division 1 guard.
