MEMPHIS HIGH SCHOOL 2007-2008 TEAM PREVIEW
Williams is physically intimidating because of his big 6'7 frame. He can literally get every rebound on the defensive end if he wants to. He has a very nice touch around the basket and crafty moves in the post but I would love to see him shoot the 10-15 jumper to really make him a more complete big man. In order for the Saints to go far, they must get help from other key players as well. Transfer Blake Daniels could provide help at the 2 guard position if need be. Cole Faulconer is a pretty good defender and Spencer Green provides shooting. By now everyone knows about the incident involving Elgin Lee. While he has been suspended, many people may start to wonder if will ever suit up for the Saints again. If he's able to come back to the team as a better person and player, he makes Briarcrest even more dangerous because Lee is one of the best scorers in the city. The Saints have a chance to be a state championship caliber team but they must fight through a little early season turmoil and huge expectations if they plan to be there in the end.

McDonald (pictured left) is an incredible talent who can score in a variety of ways and take over game. Greg Wooten is on the best point guards in the city. He's a great passer but he score ball if you need him to. I would love see Wooten develop what a lot guards don't do, stop and pop.
