Would experience win out or would Joe Jackson lead his team to the pinnacle of high school basketball. Hall was supposed to be the answer to Sampson Carter but the 6-8 senior did what he wanted in the 1st quarter. The inside outside swingman hit 2 3-pointers in a span of one minute as Ridgeway got up, 12-6. He wasn't done, going baseline with the floater before scoring machine Joe Jackson got the step on Dominique Shellman to make the score, 14-11 with 1:30 left in 1st. White Station fans chanted traitor every time senior Chris Downey but that didn't stop him from hitting Marterrance Brock in stride for a lay-up as Ridgeway went, 21-16. Andre Hollins would answer right back with a 3 with White Station looking for some momentum. The Spartans cut it to 2, 25-23 but the Roadrunner used an 8-1 run to end the half, 33-24. Ridgeway's senior leader Jason Jones went to work in the 3rd. Point after point even doing with his defense, he scored basically at will as Ridgeway took a commanding, 15 point lead, 45-30 with 3:30 left in the 3rd. Reserve guard Daryl Wright went baseline as White Station cut it to 9, 47-38. The once very confident Roadrunners started to lose a little composure as White Station cut the lead to 5, 47-42 on a Kaylon Durham free throw line jumper but you know who was there to pick it up for his team. Brock got a leaner to go before Jones put it away for the Roadrunners. He scored 11 points in the quarter to add to 12 point total from the previous quarter as the Spartans young team to started to wear down. Before the White Station knew what hit them, they were down by 13, 61-48 with Ridgeway using a 14-6 run and ending a great White Station second half of the season. More experience and having Jason Jones didn't hurt either as Coach Henning's team got it done and finished the season, 34-5 and oh yeah, won the Triple A state championship, 68-56.

The dynamic duo of Jones and Carter struck again with Jones leading both teams with 24 points. Tournament MVP Sampson Carter scored 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Jackson and Hall led White Station with 16 and 17 respectively. Congratulation Ridgeway, you brought the gold home to Memphis
Roadrunners Race To The State
Jones Great In Last Game

Throw away the season meetings because this was on a much bigger scale. The triple a state championship is what both these teams wanted. Their was an obvious difference though, Ferrakhan Hall wasn't playing the last time these 2 met a few weeks ago when Ridgeway won, 78-74.
