Former Hamilton High forward Jay "J-Watt" Watkins has transferred from the Univesity of San Francisco to the College Of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls Idaho ending his tenure with the Dons.

Former Hamilton High forward Jay "J-Watt" Watkins has transferred from the Univesity of San Francisco to the College Of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls Idaho ending his tenure with the Dons.
After a year in which he averaged 6 points and 4 rebounds a game, big things were expected from the 6'8 SF/PF but with academic problems plaguing him and the sudden firing of Jesse Evans, that may have pushed Watkins to leave the California University. Watkins can play a year of Junior College ball before he decides on his next University. The question now is whether Myron Strong will stay now that Jay is gone. Hmmm, I don't know but we will find out very soon and 901Prep will give you the scoop.
