901PrepScoop All Star Classic (February 21st- Lausanne Collegiate School)

February 21st
February 21st

For the 5th consecutive year in a year, I’m proud to announce the annual All Star Game is back and this year will be bigger than ever. The game is set for February 21st as we have done for the last 3 years placing the game on Sunday to give it more of All Star Sunday feel.  In the past, we have seen such players as McDonald’s All American and current Memphis Tiger Dedric Lawson, UNLV commit Jaylen Fisher, Bradley commit, Darrell Brown Jr, Cordova’s guard duo of Blake Williams and Tyler Harris, East High School players TJ Moss and Alex Lomax and many more play in the game and give many an indication of what they are seeing now on the high school level. Since the event’s inception, a girls all star game has been added and featured some of the best in the area including Jireh Washington, Hamilton’s Tesia Thompson plethora of lady ballers who have starred locally for the past few years. This year, the game moves to Lausanne Collegiate School (1381 West Massey Rd) with the girls game tipping at 3:00 pm and the boys game at 5:00 pm.

As usual, the home (East) teams will wear their white uniforms while the West teams will wear their dark uniforms. I now will introduce you to this years All Star roster for both the boys and girls teams. I’m asking that each player wear full uniforms, not just jerseys but full uniforms. Please confirm with me if you plan to play in the game by Saturday February 20th. Again, this vital, please CONFIRM for the game parents and players at Charles.901PrepScoop@yahoo.com or text me at 901-2870057. If you do not confirm, I will assume that you will not be playing and the nomination will go to another player who is deserving of a spot in the game. The best will come out to play on Sunday, will you?

2012 All Star Team

Again, it is important to CONFIRM your spot for Sunday. 901PrepScoop’s All Star Game is different form the SCIAA as we have no affiliation whatsoever with the school system’s game. Thank you all so much and we look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday.

*Anteresa Dickson has been added from Riverview Middle who is considered to be the best guard in Small School. She will be on the East team.
